Postpartum Doula Services
Many expecting parents are so focused on the birth of their baby, they don’t take the time to plan for a thriving postpartum. However, the way you are cared for and supported after the birth of your baby is something you will remember for the rest of your life. Many parents often go through the journey alone or with little help.
A postpartum doula offers many services, but the main goals are to help “mother the mother” for those first few days and weeks, and nurture the entire family as they transition into their new life. As your doula, I provide evidence-based information on such things as feeding, emotional and physical recovery after birth, mother-baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care. I also offer loving care to you and your baby such as hearing your birth story, answering questions, helping with light housekeeping, or caring for baby while you rest. No matter what you personally need from a postpartum doula, you can be sure that it will be one of the most important investments you ever make in yourself and your family.

Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork
Enjoy therapeutic prenatal and postpartum massage therapy in the comfort of your own home, tailored to your individual needs. I also offer in-home massage therapy to anyone seeking pain relief and relaxation.
I utilize a combination of Swedish, deep tissue, energy work, and myofascial massage to achieve deep relaxation of the nervous system. I’ll target tight and restricted areas to promote ease of movement, in an atmosphere of safety and trust. I can assist with:
Head, neck and upper back pain
Headaches
Postural dysfunction from breastfeeding
Pregnancy aches and pains including low back, hips and feet, and more.
Relax tightened pelvic muscles to prepare for labor
In-home massage is available within 30 minutes of Platteville, Wisconsin. I provide the massage table, sheets, and massage oil. All prices include travel. Please call about availability and pricing.
Placenta encapsulation & art prints
Your placenta was your baby’s lifeline during their nine months in your womb. Not only is this amazing organ emotionally significant — it can also have a host of health benefits when consumed in the postpartum period.
I offer both placenta blood prints and placenta art prints made using food-based paint. I apply a fixative to both types of prints to make the art resistant to UV-light. It’s a beautiful momento of your unbreakable bond with your baby and their time growing in your womb.
I also offer placenta encapsulation so you can enjoy the health benefits of your placenta in the postpartum period. I steam, dehydrate, and powder the placenta and place it into capsules. Consuming these capsules can reduce postpartum depression and bleeding; improve mood, energy and milk supply; and provide important micronutrients, such as iron.
Placenta encapsulation pricing: $200 within 30 minutes Platteville,, WI. $50 additional fee for travel beyond 30 minutes.
Placenta prints pricing: $50 for traditional blood prints, $80 for placenta color art.

Comprehensive Homebirth Midwifery
Childbirth is a transformative experience. I provide skilled homebirth midwifery care that centers you, and honors your unique needs and desires for birth, so you can be present in the experience and tune in to your intuition. Through respectful and honest communication, I strive to create a safe space for ALL families in an environment of trust.
I support the birthing person and your family throughout the childbearing year, with prenatal appointments beginning around 12 weeks gestation and continuing through birth and postpartum visits. In birth, I’ll help anchor you in your inherent power and ability to birth your baby, with a keen sense of when to step back and when to provide support.
I plan to complete my Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) training and apprenticeship in Summer 2025. In the meantime, I’m attending births as an apprentice with other licensed midwives.
